The purpose of the study: to study the indicators of physical performance of student basketball players in a one-yeartraining cycle, dependingon the comprehensive use ofrecovery tools.

Methods and organization of research. The following researchmethods were used: analysisand generalization of scientific and methodological literature; laboratorytesting, methods of mathematicalstatistics. The study was conductedon the basis of the Volga Region GUFKSiT and the N.F. KatanovKhakass State University. The sample of subjects consisted of 30 basketball players. The indicators of physical performance of athletes were studied.

The results of the study andtheir discussion. At the beginning of the pedagogical experiment, it was found thatthe basketball players of the control and experimentalgroups had no significantlysignificant differences inall the studied indicators(p>0.05). At the end of the experiment, positive changes were observed in the basketball players of both groups, butin the experimental group, after the controlled implementation of the integrated useof recovery tools throughout the one-yeartraining cycle, theywere morepronounced. At the same time, two of the four mainindicators (PWC170 and MOC)revealed significant intergroupdifferences (p<0.05). Thus, at the end of the study, improvements in physical performance in the experimental group rangedfrom 3.77to 9.03%,and in the control group from1.50 to2.90%, respectively.

Conclusion. Based on the results of thestudy, it can be concludedthat at the end of the experiment, positivechanges were observed inall the studied indicators of physical performance amongbasketball players of both groups, but theywere morepronounced in the experimentalgroup. At the same time, at the end of the pedagogical experiment, only two of thefour mainindicators (PWC170 and MOC)showed significant intergroupdifferences (p<0.05). Thus, the physicalperformance indicators of basketball players improve moresignificantly, which allowsthem to withstand heavyphysical exertion withoutloss ifthe playersimplement a comprehensive application ofrecovery tools throughout the entire one-yeartraining cycle.
