The purpose of the research: to identify the level of awareness and motivation of preschool parents regarding the importance of physical activity for children's health, to determine their interest in creating early physical development centers for children (EPDCC) based on kindergartens.

Methods and organization of the research: The survey was conducted using the Yandex online service forms.yandex.ru. The study included 209 respondents representing children of different age groups (1-3 years, 3-5 years, and 5-7 years). Statistical analysis of the obtained data and correlation analysis (calculation of the Pearson correlation coefficient) were used.

Research results and their discussion. It was found that the majority of children (56.5%) engage in physical activity daily for more than 3 hours, with indoor and outdoor play being the primary forms of activity. Parents are the primary source of motivation for sports (40.6%) but experience significant difficulties related to time constraints, financial costs, and a lack of infrastructure near their homes. Correlation analysis revealed strong direct correlations between: the duration and type of physical activity of preschoolers; the type of physical activity and those who initiate activities with their child; barriers and wishes of parents to engaging preschoolers in physical education and sports; the incidence of illness and family preventive measures; plans for future physical education and sports activities; and interest in creating a EPDCC.

Conclusion. It was found that parents understand the importance of physical activity for their children's health, but many require additional support and information from specialists. Parents are attracted to the idea of free sports activities for children and active family leisure. Most respondents support the idea of creating EPDCC within kindergartens.
