Annotation:

The purpose of the research is to experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of a training methodology for cheerleading athletes. 

Methods and organization of research. The study utilized the following methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, a pedagogical experiment, and mathematical statistics. The developed methodology was tested in the training process of cheerleading athletes at the Ural School of Sports Cheerleading. 

Research results and their discussion. The results of the educational experiment demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group's performance compared to the control group. Particularly pronounced improvements were observed in the accuracy of complex coordination elements and the speed of mastering elements of competitive programs. 

Conclusion. The data obtained have significant practical implications, offering coaches scientifically validated tools for improving the effectiveness of the training process. The study's findings can be used in training athletes of various skill levels and also adapted to other complex coordination sports.
