The purpose – аssessment of the potential of student associations in developing soft skills among future specialists in physical culture and sports.

Methods and organization of the research: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, survey, and pedagogical experiment. The study involved 87 bachelors from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sportsmanship at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University.

Results and discussion. The study revealed that the majority of students from the Faculty o of Physical Education and Sportsmanship are active members of the university's student associations. They regularly participate in the planning and execution of various events, which positively impacts the development of their soft skills. Through the use of diagnostic tools, it was determined that these students have a higher level of communication and organizational skills, as well as better emotional management compared to those who are less involved in student activities and extracurricular activities. These findings support our hypothesis.

Conclusion. The potential of student associations in developing the soft skills that future professionals in any field, and especially in human-to-human professions, need is enormous, but it is clearly underestimated. It allows you to discover and develop the student's abilities, increase their resources, and expand their potential, which is essential for achieving success both in academic activities and in the future.
