TEACHING THE TECHNIQUE OF SPINNING FOR 6-7 YEAR OLD GIRLS ENGAGED IN FIGURE SKATING, USING ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT (0.4 Mb, pdf) Read

Annotation:

The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for teaching basic elements of rotation to girls aged 6-7 in figure skating using additional equipment. The objectives of the study are as follows: 1. To study the features of performing rotations in figure skating. 2. To study the methods of teaching rotations and the psychophysical characteristics of the motor training of young figure skaters aged 6-7. 3. To justify a methodology for teaching basic elements of rotation in figure skating to girls aged 6-7 using additional equipment. 

Research materials and methods: analysis of specialized literature; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; testing; methods of mathematical statistics. 

Research results. The key factors for successful learning of spins are the development of vestibular stability, flexibility (especially "outwardness"), coordination abilities and strength endurance. The technique of teaching spins to young figure skaters using additional equipment (spinners, balancing boards, A. N. Mishin's simulator, weights, aerobic simulators and simulators with biofeedback) has been develop. 

Conclusion. The results of the pedagogical experiment proved the effectiveness of the developed technique. The analysis of the final data revealed a statistically significant superiority (p <0.05) of the EG skaters over their peers in the CG in the following parameters: rotation technique; physical fitness.
