THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE METHODOLOGY OF DEVELOPING THE ACCURACY OF TECHNICAL ACTIONS AND MOVEMENTS OF BADMINTON PLAYERS AT THE INITIAL TRAINING STAGE (1.48 Mb, pdf) Read

Annotation:

The aim of the study was to develop a methodology aimed at improving the quality of performance and the level of development of the accuracy of technical actions and movements in badminton players at the initial training stage.

Methods and Organization of the Study. The study was conducted at the Department of Natural Sciences of the Siberian State University of Physical Education, Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 3 in Omsk, and the Kazan State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education, the F.G. Valeev Sports School of the Olympic Reserve for Badminton. The study involved 27 badminton players training in NP2 groups. The following methods were used: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, analysis of program and regulatory documents, a questionnaire survey of leading experts, analysis of video recordings of competitive activities, expert evaluation, pedagogical control testing, psychomotor testing using the "Sports Psychophysiologist" hardware and software complex (Yu.V. Koryagina, S.V. Nopin, 2013), a pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics.

Study Results. Based on the information obtained during the preliminary study on problematic aspects, typical technical errors, the level of development of motor precision indicators, and the most significant indicators for the competitive success of badminton players, a methodology for developing the accuracy of technical actions and movements of badminton players at the initial training stage was developed.

The effectiveness of the developed methodology is confirmed by a significant improvement in the indicators of the most significant components of motor precision, a decrease in the number of technical errors in game conditions, and the stability of motor skill development, which leads to an increase in the level of technical training and competitive performance. After the completion of the pedagogical experiment, control training games were held between athletes within each group. During these games, it was revealed that, on average, the number of technical errors in athletes in the control group decreased by 11%, while in athletes in the experimental group it decreased by 25%.
