Annotation:

Introduction The foot is the foundation for maintaining an upright position and creating a support function when moving the body in space. If the function of the foot is impaired, then the load will be taken by other parts of the musculoskeletal system, such as the knee and hip joints, the spine and the skull.

Objective. Evaluation of the parameters of support ability in children with cerebral palsy and their correction when using physical exercises.

Methods and organization of the study. The study of the ratio of load on the front and back of the foot (%) and the maximum pressure (the maximum load on certain parts of the foot, kg/cm2) when taking an upright position in children from 3 to 11 years old with different levels of disorders according to the international GMFСS scale was carried out. A comparative analysis of the average group indicators of the distribution of load on the foot in a standing position using the computer analyzer of the foot "Pad professional" revealed the degree of impairment of the supporting function of the foot depending on the motor capabilities of children.

Results of the study and their discussion. The predominant distribution of load on the forefoot in children, regardless of gender differences, was revealed, which emphasizes the need for an individual approach to the child during classes. The positive effect of physical activity, after their use for foot correction, is confirmed by the results of the data obtained.

Conclusion. The data on the distribution of load on the front and back parts of the feet can be considered as one of the tools that help to achieve the goal of improving functional and motor capabilities, to improve the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy.
